Our Story: Where It All Began
Erin was raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and her Master of Science in Medical and Molecular Genetics from the Indiana University School of Medicine Genetic Counseling Training Program.
After graduation, Erin began working as a prenatal genetic counselor in Columbus, Ohio. During this role, Erin counseled hundreds of families and was honored to be a part of such a special time in people’s lives. Erin was a frequent lecturer for the OBGYN residency program, has presented at hospital grand rounds, and served as a clinical supervisor of The Ohio State University Genetic Counseling Graduate Program. Erin established a telemedicine program for maternal fetal medicine and instituted a protocol for counseling families on unexpected genetic diagnoses after birth. Erin is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
